Ansel Adams
Ansel Adams was an American photographer who made all of his pictures black and white as he thought that colour was too distracting and that the audience wouldn't actually see the image but just the colours that were used in it. I understand why he has done this and I think this an effective way because it makes the photos stand out and more and it makes them look more dramatic.
John Blakemore
John Blakemore was an English photographer who wanted to capture a sense of the forces that shape the landscape at large. The results are photographs that have a raw power. I think that Blakemore was an excellent photographer as he got more than just the place of where the photos were taken.
Wynn Bullock
Wynn Bullock was an American landscape photographer who works overnight in museums. Bullock did both black and white and colourful photo's but I decided to display the black and white photos as I think they are more powerful and stand out more. My favourite photograph is the first one as I like how the mist is just below the points of the rocks and I think this makes a powerful image.
